15 years ago, on 9 May 2011, I walked into this building for the first time. IBM, EGL Campus, Bangalore. Fresh out of college, convinced I would be CEO in 15 years. 😄
15 years & a few companies later, as fate would have it, my current office, ServiceNow, is also at the same EGL Campus.
Looking back, my first role here was in Project Management, the one subject that just clicked during MBA (unlike Accounting & Finance). 15 years later, Project Management is still what I do, still what I learn and teach, and still what I am passionate about.
Through all of this, Bangalore has been the constant. One thing I never did when I came here was tell myself that I would leave in 2-3 years. And I am grateful to be still here. Still in love with the cafes, the weather, and the energy. The kind of energy that makes you feel like things are always moving, always building, always becoming something new, which, come to think of it, is not a bad description of a career in tech either.
