What comes to your mind when you read the sentence,
“Dress like a man”?
Probably suit up or make an effort to look good? Whatever that comes to your mind, if it’s anything less dressy than what a woman would think on reading “Dress like a lady” then you’ve got work to do.
And the work is to start dressing up.

You are most confident every single time you wear the best clothes in your wardrobe. Its simple, when you are super dressed you are super confident and it comes out in the way you work and interact. In fact, there is a term for this – ‘Enclothed Cognition’. It basically means, dress like a gentleman = behave like a gentleman.
Why do we dress sharp for an interview? Why do we dress up for the first date?
That is because we want to make an impression. Someone who is generally dressed well is considered as someone who has his act together, is well organized in life and pays attention to detail. Again, it is basically an extension of point 1. Dress like a gentleman = get treated like a gentleman.
Come on now, isn’t that totally true? Don’t waste time. Buy that jacket you always wanted to, buy those shoes even if you already own 8, buy those khakis and stay trendy!
Gentlemen, don’t be afraid to dress up, don’t be afraid of the attention you may attract, don’t be afraid of being the best-dressed man in the room, when you step out of the door ensure you are putting your best foot forward and always remember Dwayne Johnson’s words,
“Cause every girl’s crazy bout a sharp dressed man…”
