Hey there! I’m Shoaib (as if you haven’t noticed already 😄), and I like blogging. There’s a fine line between “I like to blog” and “I am a blogger,” but that’s a conversation for another time. For now, I’m excited to introduce Doctor, Love — my first attempt at writing a short ebook.
Doctor, Love follows Tanya, a young, driven, and career-focused doctor in Delhi. She works at two of the city’s top hospitals and is even considering pursuing a Ph.D. While the story doesn’t set out to be a love story, I wouldn’t blame you if it feels like it flirts with the idea.
Tanya is single, and marriage isn’t exactly a priority for her… until her boyfriend — who’s hoping to become her fiancé — starts shaking up their steady, peaceful relationship. Tanya isn’t running from the idea of marriage, but she’s definitely not thrilled either. Why? Well, you’ll have to read to find out! 😉
Oh, and there’s an uncredited antagonist in the mix. Don’t worry if you don’t spot it right away — that’s part of the fun. I hope you enjoy the result of many after-office hours poured into this short story.
